A letter from the Head of Studio.

Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to New World.

For many years, families have entrusted us with an important part of their children’s education. We have had the pleasure of watching young people grow in confidence, improve their academic performance, and continue their studies at universities around the world. It has been rewarding work, and we remain grateful to the families who have made it possible.

Over time, our practice has grown and our methods have evolved. We have learned a great deal from the people we teach, particularly about the importance of individual attention. A student may understand a concept immediately or need to approach it from a different direction. Sometimes the difficulty is not knowing a rule, but recognizing when and how to apply it. These are things we can discover when we take the time to work closely with someone.

Today, we bring that experience together at New World through The Residency, our program of individual academic preparation. Each engagement begins with an assessment and follows a course of study developed around the student’s abilities, objectives, and progress.

We also continue to advise families as they consider universities and the opportunities that lie ahead. These are important decisions, and we believe they deserve careful thought, good information, and honest conversations.

Our work depends on the commitment of everyone involved. We ask our apprentices to come prepared, participate fully, and take responsibility for their learning. In return, we commit our experience, attention, and professional judgment to helping them make the most of their time with us.

As we begin this new chapter under the name New World, much of what matters to us remains unchanged. We still enjoy the work, value the relationships we build with families, and take seriously the trust placed in our care.
